Valentine's Day-Part 2

Connor had to decorate a shoe box for his Valentines at school.  Well, he really wasn't interested in doing it so I covered the box with patterned paper and he put the stickers on himself.  He did a pretty good job I think.  I couldn't even tell you where I got most of the things I used on it.  No clue what kind of paper it is, the stickers and ribbon are from Michaels, and the letter stickers are Making Memories, I think.

This is the card I made for Brian (not that he gave me one)!  I started with a black card base and used my heart Nestabilities to cut out a large heart from the middle of the card.  I used a smaller one to cut out a heart from red cardstock and embossed it with my Cuttlebug then attached it to the inside of the card.  The sentiment is embossed with silver embossing powder and the red dots are red Liquid Applique.

Recipe
Stamps: Heart Prints (Papertrey Ink)
Cardstock: True Black, Pure Poppy, White (Papertrey Ink)
Ink:
Versamark (Tsukineko)
Accents:  Silver embossing powder (CTMH); Red Liquid Applique (Marvy Uchida)
Tools: Heart Nestabilities (Spellbinders); Cuttlebug (Provocraft); Swiss Dots embossing folder (Provocraft)

Although our anniversary was in December I'll post the card I made for Brian since I forgot to do it before.  I started with a red card base and stamped the polka dots using Polka Dot Basics from Papertrey Ink.  The rectangles are cut from Nestabilities and the heart is from Heart Prints and is embossed with silver embossing powder.  The sentiment is from the same set.  As an accent, I added three buttons at the bottom but it wasn't quite enough so I added a smaller button inside each one.

Recipe
Stamps: Polka Dot Basics; Heart Prints (Papertrey Ink)
Cardstock: True Black, Pure Poppy, White (Papertrey Ink)

Thanks for looking and have a great day,
